INTERESTS AND FAVORITES
Restaurants: On the upscale side, I love a good steak like at
Ruth’s Chris Steak House or Texas Roadhouse, but I’m perfectly
content to go the cheaper route and hit Zaxby’s, Lenny’s or even
the original Memphis hole-in-the-wall, Jerry’s Sno-Cones (best
greasy cheeseburgers in Memphis!).
Books/Reading: My Bible, of course, but I also enjoy reading
theology, American history and various biographies.
TiVO Habits: Any and all PGA Tour golf events and Rome Is
Burning (ESPN).
Vacation Spot: I seem to follow my wife and daughters to
Orlando, Florida every year - so I guess that would be my favorite -
although I have to admit I’ve never been to Hawaii or on a cruise.
Sports Teams: New Orleans Saints, Memphis Grizzlies, the
Boston Celtics and any team playing the Los Angeles Lakers. Also,
of course, the University of Memphis Tigers - Go Big Blue!

Hi, I’m Brett Capaci (Kă-pay’-see) and I’m the Senior Pastor of Easthill Baptist Church.
My wife, Cindy, and I came to Easthill in October of 2008 when the church called me to
become its new Pastor - replacing Pastor Eddie Champion, who has served here for over
30 years. It is our vision to have a church that provides the people of Bartlett and its
many surrounding communities with a family atmosphere where one can find Christ,
glorify God with their life and leave a legacy for others to follow.
Cindy and I were college sweethearts, and though it took some convincing on my part,
she finally agreed to marry me on June 3rd, 1989. We have three beautiful daughters,
Lauren -21 is a student at the University of Memphis, Hannah - 18 is a Freshman at
Union University in Jackson, TN, and Reagan - 14 is in the 8th grade at Arlington Middle
School.
